Abstract
In recent years, the attention of social cultural theory in English teaching has been increasing gradually. How to combine social and cultural theories with English teaching to realize the use of western knowledge in China has become a research hotspot in recent years. Based on the present situation of English teaching in China and the theory of social culture, this paper discusses how to use western knowledge in English teaching from the perspective of social culture theory.
